Hi Everyone,

I have been running Acrobat 5.0 on NT since June with no problems--until
last week. On Friday I tried to print a document from Word 97 to the
Distiller printer, but received the following cryptic error message:

:300
Can not [sic] find this file.
Please verify that the correct path and filename are given.

When I click OK, I am prompted to specify a location to save the PDF file,
but after that the file just hangs around in the print queue until another
amusing message pops up:

Error writing to [path] for [document name]: Waiting for a process to open
on the other end of the pipe.
Do you wish to retry or cancel the job?

Long story short: The pdf file is never created, and the only solution our
help desk folks can offer is reinstalling Acrobat.

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Thanks,
Sean
