<I've read "Understanding and Planning for Translation Services" on
raycomm.com & have more questions>
We have a small static web site & we need the interface translated into
Quebec French (a sample is at http://www2.prosarcorp.com/hcmsdsdemo/) In
addition, we will have a small project once the web site has been
translated--it involves finding and tagging the trade name, manufacturer and
ingredients on 400 MSDS documents that are also in French. The timeframe is
end of January/early February.

I've never worked with a translator before.
-Does anyone in the Twin Cities have a recommendation for translation
services?
-Is this typically bid hourly or by project, and do you know the going rates
in the Twin Cities?
-Is there anything "special" that needs to be done for Quebec French, or can
an English-French translator do it?
-Is there anything else I need to be aware of?

Thank you for your help. You may respond to me off-list with Twin Cities
specific info, as it may not be of interest to everyone.

Ruth
