I once applied for a writing/training job and got the snottiest letter back
just from the initial resume basically saying how lucky I was that they even
responded to me, that they only hired the absolute best, that only the best
work came from them, etc. . . and the letter was riddled with errors -
spelling, punctuation, formattting and so much more.

I circled every error in big bright red circles, applied the appropriate
corrections and sent it back to the company, saying if that was the best
"thanks, but no thanks".

Never heard from then again and never cared to.
