As others have said, no. In fact, I've only ever heard the word "oblate"
used to describe astronomical bodies, as in "Due to its rapid rotation,
Saturn is oblate."
It's also a particular type of religious vocation. An oblate is a lay (usually) associate admitted to participation in the devotional and service activities of a monastic order. I would certainly be surprised to see it in used to describe a photograph.
