This morning, we had the Disney channel on (for our 1-year-old daughter)
and changed upon an episode of STANLEY, in which he doesn't want to
bother reading the instructions because "instructions are boring." It
turns out that he and the other kids make a mess of what they're trying
to do, wherein it is established that you should always read the
instructions before trying to use something.
I thought all my fellow technical writer s would like to know they're
teaching that lesson to the kiddies.
