I liked the sign at Fort Macon State Park in North Carolina, which said "Fort Macon was built for war, not safety..." The fort is a Civil War-era structure with embankments.

The big disclaimer for the rocks may need its own disclainer:

WARNING: This disclaimer may present large amounts of vital information in a single-paragraph format that is difficult to read. By reading this disclaimer disclaimer you agree to read the disclaimer. We are not responsible for people who are not responsible ...
