TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I've found the book "How to Say It: Choice Words, Phrases, Sentences, & Paragraphs for Every Situation" by Rosalie Maggio (ISBN 0134243676 or pbk 0134243757, 2000 edition w/CDrom 0130308862) to be a great letter-writing resource. The book includes a chapter on References and Recomendations.
I am looking for some links or lists that are involved in Letter Writing.
Most of the searches on Google were either commercial or broken links.
If anyone knows any links or lists (or any sample letters) that deal with
character reference letters, please let me know.
Thank you in advance.
