That's testing a particular skill, which I think is reasonable (if
perhaps a bit hokey). I think that tests intended to test "how you
work" can--by design--do no such thing.

Illustrates the point. There's no way I can demonstrate how I work
with a variety of SMEs with different personalities by having an
eager faux-SME sitting there watching me, possibly throwing me
curveballs to judge my response, on a product about which I have no
clue, all within an hour. However, if you ask me the question, you'll
see whether I give an insightful, experienced answer, or if I just
naively state that I get along with everyone.
