I joined in late 1993 and lurked for a long while (my
first post in the archives shows up in Jan 1994). But
then I unsubscribed in 1995 and only rejoined last
year so I'm kind of an old-newtimer.

Resubscribing to techwr-l was the first thing I thought to do
once I got back into tech writing. The collective knowledge
here is invaluable.
