We would like to automatically hyperlink terms within the
text of a document to the glossary definition. Is there a
way of doing that - any tool available - if you have Framemaker 6 and
Webworks Publisher Professional 6?

Even though using hypertext markers (newlink/gotolink pairs) will
do the job, using cross-references for linking purposes is generally better,
as these will be easier to insert and maintain (with more reliable validation).

The glossary term will have to be a paragraph in itself, with a unique
paragraph tag name -- use the "Run-In Head" Pagination property in
the Paragraph Designer so that the following paragraph (glossary definition)
will start right after the term. Visually, the term and its definition will look
as if it is one paragraph, but the term can formatted differently in terms
of font style, size.

If you have the Adobe FrameMaker template packs, the "Books" category
has a sample "glossary.fm" file with such a design.
