I believe a lot of companies outsource to India due to inexpensive labor.

Usually the outsourced code is when they're making smaller changes to a product, not when they've making overhauls. And usually management of the project stays in the U.S. and some of the coding is still done here. Are they "moving" to India? They may just have hired some programmers in India to work on some parts of it.
