Techers,

I'm working on a proposal that has a pitch size requirement for fonts rather
than point size. Can someone help me sort this out?

Assuming a monospaced font:

12-pitch = 10-point
10-point = 12-pitch

(For all intents and purposes, anyway.)

Anything else using pitch is nonstandard, but "pitch" refers to the number of letters in one inch -- which is why it only works for monospaced fonts.
