The "at sea" knucks would, of course, be fashioned from Admiralty (arsenical) Brass. Because, why? Right. The stuff doesn't corrode in sea water as much as the other brass alloys. It's also a bit stronger, which might be useful for the especially hard-headed. No need to lug around all those zinc anodes.
