Hi Prerna,

Check the formats of the images that constitute your User Manual. If they
are BMPs (screenshots are by default in the bitmap format), open them with
any image-editing software, and save them as GIFs. Reinsert the GIFs in the
manual and then try converting it to PDF. This will not only improve the
image quality but also bring down the doc size drastically!

Also try setting the image resolution to 300...
