I envision a big book that contains all the "how to use feature X" documentation, but that is basically an instruction manual on the Company X method of warehouse management.

Has anyone tried this sort of combination marcomm, tech documentation, and process documentation?

Yes, for a massive custom sales-force-automation package that was forced down the throa<deletephrase> distributed to the entire sales staff of recently-reorganized Multinational Megacorp, Inc. (name changed for obvious reasons).

Feedback on the new-style manual was excellent, however the whole application was scrapped after the next reorganization changed the sales structure/process again and they contracted for Yet Another Sales Force Automation Tool to fit the new structure.
