Okay, good point. I was speaking from a position of always having been employed
when looking for a job (or at least having 6 more weeks of severance pay
waiting for me). If I was a bit more desperate, maybe my tactics would change
*a little*. But I won't lie to get a job (see my notes later about the
definition of BS).

I agree. To me, BS = lying. Telling an interviewer that you "know some about
xyz" when all you know about it is what you read in a magazine article, and you
know that you can learn enough about xyz to be able to work with it isn't
lying. Saying that you're proficient with *using* xyz when you've never touched
the thing, *that* is lying/BSing.
