That was one of the five or so required texts for a technical
narratives class I took last semester, and hands down our favorite
book. That could be because it was a really easy read after Bal's
Narratology and some of the other stuff, and it came after the exam so
we didn't have to sweat learning it.

BTW, there are a few Techwr-lers featured in that book, such as Geoff
Hart and Elna Tymes. It was actually the second time one of my
professors assigned something by Geoff (the other was an STC column
about style guides).
