One of the issues that is important to diagrams this big is to not give the
wrong impression. Because it is visual, part of the "art" is to make the
diagram give the right complexity "look and feel" as the system it is
documenting. Make it too complex and people will think the application is
more so than it is.

One of the things that we look for in diagramming systems is to see points
that are bottlenecks or point where if the point goes down, what part of the
system does it take down with it.

Diagrams can be used for analytical reasons in addition to PointA-PointB
information. That's why one they are consolidated, it must be massaged.

That's stretching it a bit, John, don't you think?

Once Michael figures out how to employ the finer aspects of font-handling
Visio, I bet he'll be able to whip that chart out in a few hours.
