For everything I write, I write for a particular reader; his name is Igor, he's been with the company for a week, he's on third shift with nobody to talk to but the documents. If it isn't explained in the documentation, a supv gets a 4am wakeup call.

John has mentioned Igor here before.

After the first time I heard about Igor I adopted his twin sister, Lena, who doesn't speak English quite as well and is a bit shy about asking questions. I put her to work for a clone of a Manager-from-Hell I vividly remember. That made a particular doc project MUCH easier.
