Sean...you're talking to someone who spends a great deal of time in a state
where smoking is not illegal, but smoking indoors in ANY public place is.

I'm just saying that smoking should not be included into a discussion on
ethics...it cheapens the subject of ethics, which I spent a great deal of
time studying in college (I was going to go into the medical field and the
subject of ethics and human experimentation was a special interest..infact,
I was heading toward that subject for my thesis). Somehow, I don't think
that Immanuel Kant had smoking in mind when he wrote THE METAPHYSICAL
ELEMENTS OF ETHICS in the seventeen hundreds.

No, I did not. Smoking is not illegal, though, and I
suppose discriminating against smokers is not, either.

What if I don't like pregnent women? People who eat
doughnuts? People who drink beer?

And, actually, practice was to work "smoking" into the
conversation to actively determine whether candidates
smoked, so they could be weeded out.

Cheers,

Sean
