Nice tries. "Build xyz" is already implied by the main library,
and this doesn't replace the main library. It's added with it,
to... um... shim it up, for just the two (so far) OS variants
that need it.

"Add-on" and "Extension", aside from a connotation that now
has an unfortunate air about it, due to the "Thingy" sub-thread
also suggest (like "plug-in") that you'd be getting extra
functionality. You don't. You'd just be getting what the other
folk get, that use the real-people OS's. After all, who really
uses AIX?


(Stop! I'm just kidding about AIX. Now, HP-UX on the other hand...)
