Hi Darren & all,

Interesting numbers. Not suprising.

Personally, when I'm really an HTML article, I don't usually read to the end
when it's presented as a series of separate pages, with only next/back/home
for navigation for several reasons. 1) It might take too long (or I think it
might) for the next page to load. 2) I don't what what's coming up next - I
can't quickly scan it to see 3)The article itself may not be as strong as it
goes along. 4) I can't quickly jump back to page 2 when I'm on page 5.

I tend to read more of the article if it's one long page and/or there is a
menu of the headings or topics. Another thing that's useful (but, not as
useful as a menu) is the page numbers at the bottom, instead of back/next.

Many people may prefer to print a version from the PDF to read/keep. OH -- I
notice the "printable version" is the PDF, so I wonder how many people
quickly click it thinking it's an HTML printable version (even with the
Acrobat icon right there).
