SAM,

Sounds like the graphic is floating (no frame) behind the text frame. You
should be able to get at it by:

1) Select the text frame, and the select 'Send to Back' from the Graphics
menu, or

2) Temporarily resize the text frame until the graphic is exposed Select
and delete the graphic, then size the text frame back to it's original size.
