Hey Lydia,
Well said! I used to work a part-time job along with a full-time job and
ended up working six days a week, along with nights on two weeknights. This
wasn't all that bad as the part-time job was at an aquarium store and I
really enjoyed doing it, while the other job was as a tech writer. Pretty
different and therefore enjoyable, in that regard. However, one job I was
at during this timeframe ended up lasting only a short time. The reason? I
wasn't spending 10-12 hours per day there, like many of the others were in
my section. Even though the work was getting done and done so in a quality
manner, I wasn't there from 7 in the morning until 6 or 7 at night. One
thing that I've ALWAYS maintained is that I work to live, not live to work.
Without some time to enjoy the fruits of the labor, those same fruits are
no where near as sweet.
