Thanks for your reply.

Each manual on each language has a unique part number, but this part number
does not say anything about the revision.

To include a revision identity in the manuals is of paramount importance
with regards to our customers and their applications (medical, military,
aerospace, nuclear etc.). We do need to be able to identify exactly when a
certain description or correction was implemented in the manual and we do
need to be able to do this by asking the customer to look in the footer or
on the title page in the manual.
