Wow! Look at all the worms spilling outta that can!
LOL!

Obviously, there are many interpretations of the title
of Manager, depending on the organization, industry,
and situation. I've seen lone writers titled as
Manager of Documentation, I've seen "principal"
writers on a team named as Manager but with no
management authority over the team, I've seen Doc
Managers with admin control over a team and with a
writing role as well, and I've seen Doc Managers with
specific admin/management duties over a doc team only.

But, what really makes sense? Well, all and none of
course. ;) Is it that you are looking for the title of
Doc Manager? Or are you applying for such a position?
What's the scenario-at-hand?
