If you are on Windows, check under Start>Programs>Accessories for Character
Map. Using Character Map you can set the font you are using and either use
the Select/Copy or the ALT+ numbers to insert the character.

To enter a character using the ALT+ numbers, you hold the ALT key while
entering the number of the character on the number pad.
