I find it easiest just to create one humongous master
resume that lists every job in excruciating detail. I
*have* to do this, otherwise I can't remember them
all.
When it's time to send out a resume, I Save As and
delete the stuff I don't want on this go-round, then I
customize each block as needed. Why bother with a
database or XML, unless you just want to because it's
fun.
If you save every customized resume you ever send out,
eventually you'll be able to categorize them and
re-use the blocks.
