It *is* foolish for people to follow Nielsen blindly, but his "usability
guru" badge is probably a marketing technique. Caveat emptor. Someone
pointed out on this list that Mr. "usability guru" Nielsen has a fairly
_un_usable Web site. Nielsen happens to be right when it comes to PDFs and
Web browsers, but he doesn't know how to use the Web himself! Some guru.

No matter. A careful reader of the TECHWR-L list will conclude that the tech
writing community has chosen to follow a wiser path, namely, that of the
Maharishi Posada.
