Just posting to see if anyone on the listserv can help out my officemate.
The guy I work with is having trouble with double login in Java. He wrote a
small Telnet Client in sockets and he negotiated with the server using
various IAC's. The server replied with a login prompt, he entered the
username, and the server still replies with a login prompt. The he enters
the username again, then the server replies back with a password prompt. He
enteres the password, and the server replies with incorrect login.
He uses the same login password in Windows and it works fine, as does the
system that is in use that he is upgrading.
In addition, the first login prompt is indented if that matters.
