StarTeam still stores copies of your binaries, not
diffs. At least, that was the case with .doc, .fm,
.gif, .png, .bmp, .chm, and like files. I watched a
StarTeam server fill up in a year's time with doc
"diffs". Of course, one writer checked all files in
and out daily... ugh.

Moral:

Rely on a process. Let software help where it can.
