Subject:Disabling the Print function in Help. From:Erin Cullingham <ecullingham -at- linnet -dot- ca> To:"TECHWR-L (E-mail)" <TECHWR-L -at- LISTS -dot- RAYCOMM -dot- COM> Date:Tue, 26 Aug 2003 10:39:22 -0500
I need to prohibit printing from a Help file (WinHelp 2000). This is not
for security reasons, but because the software/help will be loaded on a
machine that will never have a printer. I have been asked to disable all
print capabilities to "save confusion."
The Print button on the Help window is turned off. No worries there. I
found a script that will turn off the Print command in the right-click
context menu, however in order for this to work I need to include the script
in every single topic, the idea of which makes me cringe. I can't find
anything on how to disable the File > Print Topic command.
Can the print function be turned off completely? If so, is it an arduous
process?
Please enlighten me.
Thanks.
