You know I find that statement particularly funny.

Firstly, MIF isn't that far off from being valid XML as it is right now. The
only thing that would need to be changed is the way the opening and closing tags
are represented and you're most of the way there. XML/SGML/HTML/MIF, nothing
magical about any of them. They're all just tagged/marked-up text.

Secondly "would only require" ROTFL!!! :) Lots of bother hidden in that little
innocent phrase.
