When I started my M.A. program, I was already happily employed with a
Fortune 500 (at that time) high tech company as a writer. In fact, the
company was paying my tuition, books, and all the fees except for my parking
sticker. Not only do I feel like I have a better understanding of the field
than when I started, but I'm also a better writer (which, of course,
benefited that company until they RIFed me).
