Does anyone here document activation?

I just got MS Project, installed it, ran it, activated
it, closed it, did some PC maintenance that included
only deleting some data files and some cookies, re-ran
MS Project, got prompted for activation, got denied,
was required to converse with a computer on the phone,
got denied, was required to converse with a very tired
sounding human on the phone ... am in. Sigh.

Maybe we could document what causes the activation
process to get kicked off a second time? Deleting
FrameMaker data files and PDFs and associated
directories should not cause MS Project to hiccup
though.

Maybe we could provide a warning on hte activation
screen that links to a page in the help that defines
what you need to avoid to skip the whole reactivation
thing?

Maybe it's not a doc issue?

What a pain.

Cheers,

Sean
