My employer is actively considering going in for Information Mapping
training that is offered by Information Mapping, Inc. We plan to use this
method to reorganize our technical documentation for our middleware.

Does anybody have first-hand experience with Information Mapping? If so, I
would like to know the following:
* Is the concept effective, and does it lend itself to technical
documentation for products in the ERP and middleware sectors?
* How different is Information Mapping from the concepts of good technical
communication, such as using headlines, logical sequence, cohesive
paragraphs, and lists?
* Are there any good books on this topic?

Any pointers in this regard would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Vlad
