2. How do I explain what happened when I go for an interview?
If you are forced to:
"I left my former position for a promised job that fell through at the last minute. My former company also had a reverse in finances and were unable to hire me back."
In our area (Seattle), there have been so many lay-offs that most people don't even ask.
