Commercial books generally take an hour a page to write, plus the
proofing and production process. That's when you're the SME and writer
all in one. Dealing with other departments throws in lots of variables
of course. ;>

I'd say then that allowing 2 hrs per page, once you have a reliable page
count, wouldn't be entirely inaccurate. P
