Those people comprise a constituency known as the
"professionally offended". They are expert (or, at
least gifted-amateur) practitioners of:
"Offense Theft"(tm) -- the taking of offense where
none is offered.

these precise, accurate, descriptive terms to our
vocabularies and apply them wherever remotely
appropriate.
