I'm writing an article about technical communication that seeks to determine
if there are likely careers some technical writers move toward as they grow
their expertise, or become interested in alternative career paths.

Journalists, after a taste of the new industry, often study the law and may
eventually become lawyers. What careers do technical communicators often
move toward?

Just looking for your two cents worth so I can create a more meaningful
article on the subject.

Thanks in advance.
