My theory is that people are big, dumb, stupid,
over-critical, incredibly subjective, and highly
opinionated masses of complex protein. Each person
will do something different, and claim their way is
best. No one will be completely happy with anything.

So, either design something that is 100% subjectively
intuitive for each and every person, or build what you
can and tell the whiners to sit on their thumbs.

Excellent theory!

Now for the first refinement: How to distinguish between whiners and those with useful suggestions that would make the thing you build easier to use to the majority of users?

Happy theoretizing ;-)
