The issue is that if new viruses or vulnerabilities are found for Win98,
there won't be any patches. So even if you don't have Win98, you can be
affected/infected/spammed by those that still do.
And manufacturers will begin to phase out Win98 support in their products,
so eventually you will need/want some cool new software that doesn't run on
Win98.
Get your used disks now; they are the last version of Windows without
Product Activation or other forms of proto-DRM. I hear prices are already
going up on ebay.
