Along those lines, I should mention that the Glossarist is a database of online glossaries. The accuracy and value of those glossaries can and does vary. But then again, if you are getting information from many different sources, a good reseach practice in general and not just for the Web, then you should be able to figure out which sources are good and which aren't. :-) I generally use it as a starting point for research.
