My main "issue" with Amazon was the fact they gave me routing numbers
for my orders that were on previous orders to other customers.
Therefore, I had no way to track my shipments. This happened more than
once. I was told that they reuse numbers, and sometimes they are not
taken out of the system before reusing them.
I should point out, that I still order on occasion from Amazon.uk for
Irish/Celtic music that is not available in the US. Heck, I have even
ordered music that is available here because I can get it cheaper from
London than I can here, even with shipping. I might have to wait another
week, but so what?
As for a comment made earlier today, I am not trying to organize a
boycott. But considering I have not had any problems with B&N, and I
have had several problems with Amazon (US), why would continue to buy
from them. But on the boycott issue, being technically savvy and
joining/forming a boycott are unrelated. Joining/forming a boycott IF
anything, is being consumer savvy.
