Well, I did qualify my statement by saying "bordered on." Where I got the idea was that the original post quoted a passage of awkwardly-written documentation written by a non-native speaker. I realize the intent was to comment on the company that hired the writer, but it could be misinterpreted.

I think that was assumed on your part, as I didn't see
that at all in his post, and knowing a bit about John
and his level of professionalism, I think I can safely
say he'd never stoop to such behavior.
