I keep seeing job listings for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance writers. All insist on previous experience, but the S-A act has only been around since 2002, so there can't possibly be enough experienced writers to fill all these slots.
This is a common phenomenon. Digital Equipment's VAX had only been
out to customers a few weeks (mid 1978 if I remember correctly)
when I saw ads in the papers looking for programmers with five years
of VAX experience.
