Technical accuracy is the most elementary concept in technical
writing. It is the basis on which all else stands.

Technical correctness is always assumed.

Anything that technical writers and editors say about the field is
based upon this most fundamental concept: the content must be
technically accurate.

To suggest that anyone is maintaining otherwise is ludicrous.
