If I had to call it something, I'd stay with " Expand/Collapse" button.
Wordy? Hell, it's two words.

I'd try to avoid the urge to go around naming things, though.
I might write:

In the XYZ panel, click the button next to a heading to
expand or collapse the list of options [or whatever they are].

Why force your users to learn a new vocabulary they really don't need?
