Ah, yesssssss. At Tandem back in the mid-80s, we had a one-day workshop from Berlitz about translation/internationalization. Their example involved teams being assigned to document a hardware object and the text was being made available to the team before the illustrations were available.

The work groups had a shot at it, THEN received the images. Lots of things were quite different when we SAW what they were talking about.
