I get it! When he was created by Dr. Noonien Soong, there were really
two brothers (Data and Lore), though Data didn't know it until later.
That's why he was called Mr. Data. If, on the other hand, he'd been
created as an only...uhm...child, he would have been called Mr. Datum?
